We were up and at it by 5:00 a.m. Lee picked a great spot to duck hunt. Since I didn't buy a license this year, I offered my assistance in letting him know when to shoot. I also informed him that there were far more shots being fired than birds dropping. My assistance was met with a lack of appreciation :)
After fishing, Lee and Sean headed up a high hill to a ridge to bring down a deer blind. On the way up, Lee and Sean spooked a spike. After ten minutes of watching the deer, Lee saw his chance. The deer is at the processor and we will have deer meat by Monday. Sean found it all very exciting and we even wrote a story about it during school today.
