We've had a couple of days this month of outdoor painting.

What a mess...but what fun :)

We Have a Museum For That

Sean and I wrapped up the Civil War and are currently working through Texas history in school.  It just so happens about 25 minutes away is the Texas Civil War Museum.

We were able to do a scavenger hunt while we there. 

The answers were in the different displays.

Sean's two favorite things...the cannon

and the last battle of the Civil War.

We also were able to eat lunch with Lee and run a few errands while Kate went to a Mother's Day Out program for her second time.

Kate really only wanted to hold on to one egg

once she realized it had candy in it. 

She did not want to release it to gather other ones at yesterdays egg hunt at church.  Her new favorite word is "Mine"...we must change this very soon.

Kate was thrilled with receiving her Boz book this morning.

It really is time for new pajama bottoms.
