We spent the evening at our church's Trunk or Treat.

 Sean was Obi Wan again this year...the mask is not meant to be scary, but it is.

 Kate was Rapunzel. We all ended up with glitter on us.

Our dear friend Ronnie Bishop died unexpectantly last week. 

I cannot remember not knowing her.  She always had a smile, a laugh, and a great big hug.  She sang at our wedding and her version of "O Holy Night" is etched in memory as my favorite.

Ila B.

Lee's grandmother, Mammy, passed away on October 7th.  

She was born in 1919 and shared the same first name with my grandmother, Ila.

We celebrated her life last week.  During the funeral, Sean read some memories that Lee had of his grandmother.  Kate cheered and clapped after each song. Ila B's pastor said that she was the only one he knew of that represented the Proverbs 31 woman.
