From the Week

Wearing the boys out!

What Lee does when he's in charge...just kidding :)

This strawberry dress my mom bought is adorable.
Kate is 6 1/2 months old and is about an inch away from being too long for her carseat.

Bathtime in the sink

The beginning stages of poison ivy on Sean's face.
He's had rough go this week.
Today it looks pretty yucky (and I won't be posting), but he is on the mend.

Thoughts for Thursday

For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made
his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God
in the face of Christ.

From the Weekend

A trip to Grandma's house...
Sean and his friend Mason wanted to live off the land for the weekend.
I took them to a spot on the property, left them with my cell phone and said call me if you need us and then I walked back to the house.  Later that morning, I received three consecutive phone calls from the boys who were roughing it.

1st call:  "Mom, can you bring us another water bottle?  Mason's not sure which one he drank out of so we need two new ones."  I quickly solved this one without needing to make a trip.
2nd call:  "Mom, can you bring Ranch (dressing)" for the redbud flowers that taste like salad that we told them were safe to eat.
3rd call:  "Uh, Mom, can you bring hand sanitizer?"  I told him that it doesn't clean off dirt and mud so he said "nevermind".

Carrying their gear and bb guns
The campsite that they made.
After fishing and spending more time at their campsite,
they decided that they'd rather sleep inside.

More Pictures of Kate

Kate also had a good weekend...

Thoughts for Thursday

Even though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;

Six Months

Kate turned six months last week.
Her check-up was today and all was well.
She weighed 17 lbs 2 oz and is 28 inches long.
Sitting up pretty good
Chewing on everything
Sleeping during one of our walks

She loves to make the red ball spin around.
Everytime it spins she reacts like she is seeing it for the first time.
