Thoughts for Thursday

Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness....But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...

But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.

Duck Hunting

 This past weekend, Lee and Sean hunted with friends James, Hunter, and Todd.

Sean killed his first duck (a drake gadwall) on Saturday.   

Hunter and Sean each killed two ducks.

Snow Days

We had snow recently.

I interrupted a snowball fight to take a picture.

Now, that is just not nice.

Next year Kate will have a coat that can get wet!

My Prayer Became Real

A boy in our life recently prayed for someone in his family.  The family member asked for a Bible the day after he prayed for them, and he came running over and said "My prayer became real".  

It chokes me up every time I think about it.
