Nana and Poppy Camp

Sean spent last week at the 2nd Annual
Nana and Poppy Camp.

Kate and I headed over last Thursday afternoon to join in some of the fun. Throughout the week they had a luau, skit night, every night movie night, crafts, sports, hide and go seek, and the list goes on.

The cousins last morning together.  I'm sure the grandparents are enjoying the quiet :)

Kate Update

We finally had a portrait made of Kate - and yes we have permission to use this one only :)
She's wearing my 1 year old dress.

Teething...and they are not coming in order.

Drumming...she takes this very seriously.

My aunt and uncle came for an overnight visit earlier this week.
Sean has been at his grandparents all week with four other cousins!

Thoughts for Thursday

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man.
And God is faithful,
he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.
But when you are tempted,
he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

From the Week

Sean spent his days at baseball camp this week.  He loved it, but
I'm not sure he is ready to part with soccer yet.
The boys of summer

Kate absolutely loves the water.

Giving her baby a kiss...sweet girl!

Thoughts for Thursday

Husbands, love your wives,
just as Christ loved the church...

Enchanted Rock

On our way home from San Antonio,
we drove thru Fredricksburg and hiked Enchanted Rock
for the first time.
If you look real hard, you can see the hikers.

I stayed back with Kate at a picnic table with shade
and a cool breeze while Lee and Sean hiked to the top.

Sean almost to the top

A view from on top of the rock

Lee and Sean said it was beautiful so when Sean made it back down, he said that I just had to see it.
I said I'd walk part of the way while Lee watched Kate.  Sean kept encouraging me to go on and he hiked to the top for the second time in one day.  It really was beautiful...the pictures do not capture it.

Baby Kate is 10 months old today.
She has four teeth and a hearty appetite.
She loves avocadas, carrots, bananas, peas, and MumMums.
Kate also thinks her big brother is the best.
