From the Weekend

Nobody makes Kate laugh like her brother.

Enjoying the outdoors - 80 degrees in February

First solid food
Sean was the first to serve her rice and then I finished up.
He made a food chart for her so we could check off what she tries.

24 Weeks!

I liked the upclose shots Lee took of Kate.
Tiny cute foot

Yes, I will be getting a haircut next week.

Happy girl

Well fed baby :)

Valentine Festivities

We had a couple of parties for Valentine's -
one with our homeschool group at a local gym and the other at church.
The floor had a little spring in it I suppose.
I thought this picture of Sean jumping was funny.

Sean and his friend Breck

Sean as part of the entertainment at church.
Each balloon represents a certain sin and he was bound by all of it,
but he was freed by the cross (which popped all of the other balloons).

Thoughts for Thursday

Be self-controlled and alert.
Your enemy the devil prowls around like
a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
Resist him, standing firm in the faith...

23 Weeks

Kate's tummy time turned into nap time.
She is growing so fast and is wearing 6-9 month clothes.
Her feet are tiny though - about the size of a 3 month old :)

A Light Dusting

We were suppose to get "a light dusting of snow" overnight
which in actuality means several inches of snow.

Kate enjoying the snowfall while in the comfort of our heated home.
We were without power for about 8 hours on Tuesday,
and we have been very grateful for indoor heating ever since.

The light dusting of snow

Sean and Kate - the bear suit has a tail :)

The igloo that Lee and Sean built.

More Snow

Gracie

This was the strangest thing to watch.  The snow moved all at once.

The backside of the igloo

Rusty Blackhaw berries...for my own enjoyment

I'm so glad Edie thought Kate just had to have this bear suit.

Five Months Old

Kate turned 5 months old yesterday :)

Thoughts for Thursday

Like newborn babies,
crave pure spiritual milk,
so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,
now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.

Brrrrr!

We are at 17 degrees and dropping....suppose to reach 9 degrees not factoring in the wind chill.
Sean is loving it.
