"Where's Kate?"

Reminds me of the '80's for some reason

Getting ready for church

Basketball is Over!

We spent two nights and three days at a state homeschool basketball tournament this week.  There were 16 courts in the gym we were in and they were all full from morning til night.
Kate was not all that into basketball.

Enjoying a refreshment :)

From the Week

Snow on Monday morning

The week has also included a Valentine's Party,
a very easy cast removal, sleep over with a friend, party preparation and a romantic dinner at Chick fil A.

Enjoying spring-like temperatures on Wednesday
To the casual observer, Sean looks like he is making mudpies.
In actuality, he is making mudbombs...there is a difference.
Kate has been walking everywhere nonstop since the cast came off.

Looking way too grown up

Arts and Crafts

It has been an arts and crafts day today.
Kate is "painting" with glue for the first time.

Painting for real
Sean and I decorated her cast a couple of days ago.
It comes off next Tuesday.

17 Months Today

Yesterday Kate had a benign tumor removed from her toe.
The surgery was suppose to last an hour...ended up being two and a half hours.  As we were preparing to leave, the Dr. said in passing that she couldn't walk for 10 days....and to keep it elevated for 24 hours.
It took me until this morning to grasp all that that meant :) Needless to say we have had an interesting day, but she has been a trooper.  I was also unaware of how many of her pants are tapered at the bottom!

Sean's sock helps prevent her from touching the floor with it if she tries to crawl.
This afternoon she had learned to crawl without letting her foot touch the ground, but she doesn't do it for long and wants to stand.  Thank you for the prayers!
