Thoughts for Thursday

The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Thoughts for Thursday

Sing A Song
Third Day Offerings II: A Worship Album

I want to sing a song for You, Lord

Lord, for You I want to sing a song
And I want to lift my voice to Heaven
And listen to the angels sing along

A song of Your faithfulness
A song of Your grace
And of Your loving kindness
To the glory of Your name

With everything that’s in me, Lord
Listen to me say
I want to sing a song for You
I want to sing a song

I want to live my life for You, Lord
Lord, for You I want to live my life
I want to praise the name of Jesus
Pray above all things You’re glorified

And I sing about Your mercy
And I sing about Your love
Your goodness, Lord
Your righteousness

I want to sing...

And we’ll sing holy, holy, holy
We’ll sing holy, holy, holy
We’ll shout holy, holy
Are You Lord almighty

Yes, You are Lord

(I've had this song in my head for two weeks.
The photo is of the lead singer for Third Day.  We saw them in concert in April 2008.)

Thoughts for Thursday

Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

Christmas Highlights

Sean left books out in case Santa had time to read.

Reindeer tracks on the deck - our first white Christmas

Sean discovered his new camouflage air rifle after the gifts were unwrapped.

There were many ohs, ahs and grunts...

but nobody said "You'll shoot your eye out."

More Christmas Pics

We enjoyed playing in the snow on Christmas.

The street near our house was great for sledding.

Sean giving me a shove down the hill.

Our backyard covered in snow

Lee was creative with a plastic box and snow...the semi-igloo remained for days.

Final Christmas Pics

We spent the remainder of the Christmas break at Lee's mother's house.

Sean trying out the new air rifle.

Emma and Orson (Sean's cousins) taking turns.

The pumpkin and cup didn't stand a chance.

Cousins sitting in front of Grandma's tree.  They had made up their own club called the "World Peace Club" and made Emma their president.  They were eagerly seeking more relatives to join.

Flat Sean and Flat Mason

The week of Christmas, Sean's good friend Mason left for Germany.  He and his family will be there for three months. We decided to make a "Flat Sean" and a "Flat Mason" so the boys could keep in touch.

The boys worked hard on their guys.

Mason is holding "Flat Sean" and Sean is holding "Flat Mason".  We have received fun pictures of "Flat Sean" at the airport and traveling in Germany.  Sean has sent pictures of "Flat Mason" in the snow.

Thoughts for Thursday

Your word is a lamp to my feet and
a light for my path.
